In true twenty-first century fashion, Alexa and Cameron matched on Hinge. Alexa, a devoted football fan, had shared her idea of a perfect Sunday: a crisp fall morning playing football or hitting the gym, cooking a good meal, and then watching NFL games all day. That caught Cameron’s attention, and while he swiped right, he quickly realized Alexa had already beaten him to it.

After a week of nonstop texts, they set their first date for October 29th. Cameron went with the classic dinner-and-a-movie at Easton Town Center, but after the credits rolled, he called an audible and suggested heading to Pins Mechanical Co. Alexa said yes, and the two spent hours laughing, talking, and realizing just how easy it was to be around each other. The night went so well that Alexa immediately texted her friend: “I’m going to marry that man.”

Turns out… she was right.

Fast forward to July 11th, 2025, while in Savannah, GA for a family reunion, Cameron got down on one knee and popped the big question. Overwhelmed with joy, Alexa said "Absolutely, baby!" It was the easiest yes of her life, and the perfect start to their forever.
